Elizabeth Benjamin
was born on March 1, 1799 in Wheeling, Virginia. She is one of
three children born to Nathan Benjamin and Mary Nulton.
On June 18, 1818 Elizabeth married Heathcoat Pickett
in Athens County, Ohio. Elizabeth and Heathcoat were the parents
of Temperance, Polly, Elizabeth, Rebecca, James, Julia Ann, Samuel
Wallace, Rhoda, Harriet, Hannah, Persoccia and John. Elizabeth
appears on the census on October 14, 1850 in York, Athens County,
Ohio. Elizabeth died on November 16, 1869 in York Township, Athens
County, Ohio. She was buried in Connett Cemetery, Nelsonville,
Athens County, Ohio.
Nathan Benjamin was
born in Pennsylvania, the son of David Benjamin and an
unknown mother. Nathan married Mary Nulton. Nathan and
Mary were the parents of Elizabeth, David Y. William and John
Fletcher. Nathan died in 1857 in Indiana.
David
Benjamin was the son of Jonathan Benjamin and an unknown
mother. David and an unknown woman were the parents of Nathan.
David died in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, during an Indian
Raid.

Benjamin and an unknown mother. Jonathan and an unknown woman
were the parents of David.
