Paternal Paternal Line

Sarah Cole was born on February 23, 1800 in Pennyslvania. Sarah is the oldest child of Tunis Cole and an unknown mother. Sarah married Jacob D. Snider on August 1, 1833. Sarah and Jacob were the parents of Josephus T., Ephrim, Mary Catherine, Susannah, Margaret Ellen and Margaret Ann. Sarah died on May 16, 1871 in Cumberland County, Illinois. She was buried in Paul Cemetery, Cumberland County, Illinois.

Tunis Cole was born about 1775 in Pennsylvania. He married an unknown woman and was the father of Sarah, William, Henry, David, Margaret, Andrew, Lucinda, Mary, Jeremiah and Elizabeth. Tunis died in 1834 in Fairfield County, Ohio.
