Mary Folger
was born in 1620 in England. She was one of four children born
to John Folger and Meribah Gibbs.
About 1650 Mary married Peter Paine. On May 24, 1660 Mary
married Jeremiah Vail in Southold,
Long Island, New York. Mary and Jeremiah were the parents of Tabitha,
John, Daniel and Mary. Mary died before 1685 in Southold, Long
Island, New York.
John Folger was born between
1590 and 1595 in England. John married Meribah Gibbs
and they were the parents of Peter, Mary, Ruth and Joanna. The
family emigrated in 1635 from Norwich, Norfolk County, England
on the ship the Abigail. By 1641 John lived in Dedham, Massachusetts,
after that he lived in Watertown, Massachusetts where he owned
six acres of land. In 1642 he moved to Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.
John died between 1660 and 1665 in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.
