Elizabeth Giles
was born about 1666 in Parrish of Challock, Fevesham, Kent, England.
She was one of six children born to James Giles and Elizabeth
Tidd. About 1685 Elizabeth married
William Olden and they were the
parents of John and Sarah.
James Giles was
born between 1626 and 1629 in The Park, Challock Parish, Kent,
England. He was the son of Matthew Giles and Elizabeth
unknown last name. James married Elizabeth Tidd
and they were the parents of Elizabeth, Sarah, Ann, Mary, Matthew
and Jane. The family immigrated on November 9, 1668 to Braintree,
Massachusetts on board the "Peter". James died between
1688 and 1690 in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey.
Matthew
Giles married Elizabeth unknown last name and they
were the parents of James.
