Ann Holyoke
was baptized on January 13, 1620 in Tanworth, Warwickshire, England.
She was one of nine children born to Edward Holyoke and
Prudence Stockton. On August
17, 1643 Ann married Thomas Putnam
in Lynn, Massachusetts. Ann and Thomas were the parents of Ann,
Sarah, Mary, Thomas, Edward and Elizabeth. Ann died on September
1, 1665 in Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts.
Edward
Holyoke was born on February 15, 1584 in Tamworth, Stafford,
England. He was the son of Edward Holyoke and an unknown mother.
Edward married Prudence Stockton
on June 18, 1612 in Kimcote, Walton, Leicester, England. Edward
and Prudence were the parents of John, Elizabeth, Eliezur, Ann,
Dora, Mary, Susannah and Sarah. About 1637 he immigrated to Massachusetts.
Edward died on May 4, 1660 in Lynn, Essex County, Massachusetts.
Edward Holyoke was the son of Thomas
Holyoke and an unknown mother. Edward and an unknown woman
were the parents of Edward.
