Maternal Paternal Line
Mary Louisa Jennings was born on March 19, 1813. She is one of thirteen
children born to Jonathan Jennings and Louisa Richmond.
Mary married Justus Albern Case
on April 28, 1830. Mary and Justus were the parents of Henry Lorenzo,
Sarah Louisa and Albern W..
James
Jennings was born on November 30,
1783 in East Hampton, Long Island, New York. He was the son of
Jonathan Sherrell Jennings and Mary Hart. On December
27, 1805 James married Louisa Richmond
in Southold, Long Island, Suffolk County, New York. James and
Louisa were the parents of Thomas, James Warren, Louis Henry,
Hannah Ash, Mary Louisa, Lucretia Maria, Benjamin Stephen, John,
William Wallace, Warren Richmond, Abby Jane, Samuel Brush and
Albern Sherrell.
Jonathan Sherrell Jennings
was born on September 29, 1750 in Southold, Long Island, New York.
He is the youngest child born to Ebenezer Jennings and
Keturah Miller. Jonathan was christened in 1752 at the
First Church of Southold in Southold, Long Island, New York. Jonathan
married Mary Hart on November 14,
1773 in Southold, Long Island, New York. Jonathan and Mary were
the parents of James. According to the National Society of the
Daughters of the American Revolution, volume 46, page 140, Jonathan
in 1776 served as Corporal in Captain Daniel Griffing's company,
Second Regiment of New York forces, commanded by Colonel James
Clinton. Jonathan died in 1830 in Southold, Long Island, New York.
Ebenezer Jennings
was born on June 16, 1715 in Windham, Connecticut. He was the
eldest son of Ebenezer Jennings and Mary Bidlock.
Ebenezer married Keturah Miller and they were the parents
of Mary, Ebenezer, Jonathan Sherrell and two unknown children.
Ebenezer's occupation was that of a cordwainer. He was a member
of the First Church of Christ in Middletown, Connecticut. Ebenezer
died on February 28, 1772 in Southold, Long Island, New York.
Keturah Miller died on February
17, 1794 in Southold, Long Island, New York.
Ebenezer
Jennings was born on February 18, 1691 in Windham, Connecticut.
Ebenezer was one of eight children born to Jonathan Jennings
and Susannah last name unknown. Ebenezer married Mary
Bidlock on December 16, 1713. Ebenezer and Mary were the parents
of Ebenezer, Mary, Bethiah, Jonathan and Silas. Ebenezer married
second Jemima Beryham, the widow Bingham on August
10, 1726. Ebenezer and Jemima were the parents of Abel, Nathan,
Jemima and Simon, before she died on June 28, 1736. On October
30, 1737 Ebenezer married Martha Munson. Ebenezer and Martha
were the parents of Ann, James and Esther. Ebenezer died sometime
after 1745 and before June 23, 1753.
Mary Bidlock died on February
22, 1726.
Jonathan
Jennings was born in 1653. He was
one of ten children born to Joshua Jennings and Mary
Williams. Jonathan married Susannah last name unknown
and they were the parents of Jonathan, Mary, Joseph, Hannah, Ebenezer,
Abigail, Lydia and David. Jonathan ran a saw mill at No-man's-acre
Brook dam. After Susannah's death Jonathan married Mary Howard
on May 1, 1701. On November 16, 1703 Jonathan married Hannah
Abbe. Jonathan died on June 27, 1733 in Windham, Connecticut.
Susannah
last name unknown died on November 28, 1700.
Joshua
Jennings was born in 1620 in England. Joshua married Mary
Williams on December 22, 1647 in Hartford, Connecticut. Joshua
and Mary were the parents of Elizabeth, John, Joseph, Joshua,
Mary, Matthew, Michael, Samuel, Jonathan and Isaac. Joshua died
in 1675 in Fairfield, Connecticut.
Mary Williams married second
George Slawson. Mary died about 1697.
