Deliverance King
was born on August 31, 1641 in Salem, Massachusetts. She was one
of eight children born to William King and Dorothy Hayne.
On February 17, 1658 Deliverance married John Tuthill
in Southold, Long Island, New York. Deliverance and John were
the parents of John, Elizabeth, Henry, Abigail, Dorothy, Deliverance,
Daniel, Nathaniel and Hannah. Deliverance died on January 24,
1690.
William King was born in 1595 in Sherbourne,
Dorset, England. He was the son of William King and Dorothy
or Ann Bowdiedge. William married Dorothy Hayne on
February 17, 1616/1617 in Sherborne, Devonshire, England. William
and Dorothy were the parents of Dorothy/Mary, Katherine, William,
Hannah, Samuel, John, Mehitabel and Deliverance. About 1635 they
emigrated from Weymouth, England to Salem, Massachusetts aboard
the ship "The Abigail". William died in 1650 in Salem,
Massachusetts.
Dorothy Hayne was born in
1601 in Sherborne, Devonshire, England. Dorothy died in 1684 in
Southold, Long Island, New York.
William King was born
in 1565 in England. William married Dorothy or Ann Bowdiedge and they were the parents William.
