Ann Catherine Latta
was born on September 20, 1787. She is one of three children born
to Moses Latta and Elizabeth Jeaman. On February
23, 1804, Ann married Edward M. Millspaugh
at the Presbyterian Church in Good Will, Orange County, New York.
Ann and Edward were the parents of Erastus Elmer, Ann Eliza, Alanson,
Charles E., James Latta, Nancy, Matthias, Cornelius Madden, Edward
Theodore and John Hill. Ann died on October 18, 1823.
Moses
Latta was born in 1760 in the North of Ireland. He is the
son of James Latta and an unknown mother. About 1780 Moses
married Elizabeth Jeaman. Moses and
Elizabeth were the parents of Ann Maria, Ann Catherine and James
Newkirk. Moses was a Mason. Moses died in 1790 in Montgomery,
New York.
James Latta was born in the North
of Ireland. James married an unknown woman and had William, James,
Samuel and Moses. James immigrated to America and settled in Wallkill,
New York.
