Mary Peele
was born on February 2, 1742 in Rich Square, Northampton County,
North Carolina. She is the daughter of Robert Peelle and
Elizabeth Edgerton. On December
7, 1760 Mary married Thomas Hollowell
at the Rich Square Meetinghouse in Rich Square, Northampton County,
North Carolina. Mary and Thomas were the parents of Abigail, Sarah,
John, Robert, Miriam, Robert, William, Thomas and Joseph Jesse.
On September 8, 1781 Mary and daughters Abigail, Sarah, and Miriam
produced a certificate of unity to the Contentnea Monthly Meeting,
Wayne County, North Carolina. Mary died on January 11, 1813 in
Valeene, Orange County, Indiana.
Robert Peelle
was born on June 29, 1709 in Nansemond County, Virginia. He was
the son of Robert Peelle and Judith possible last name
Edwards. Robert married Elizabeth Edgerton
in January 1729 in Virginia. Robert and Elizabeth were the parents
of Robert, Isaac Passco/Pascho, Elizabeth, Mary and Sarah. Robert
was an Elder in the Society of Friends. In 1741 he moved to Northampton
County, North Carolina, where he purchased 500 acres of land from
Samuel Ruffin for forty pounds of Virginia currency. On
June 1, 1750 in Piney Woods, Perquimans County, North Carolina
Robert married second Charity Dickinson. Robert and Charity
were the parents of David, Judith, Jeremiah, Anna, Charity, Abba/Abigail,
Betsey, Rachel, Selah/Celia and Dana. Robert died on July 13,
1782 in Rich Square, Northampton County, North Carolina.
Robert
Peelle was born about 1681 at his
father's plantation, Sleepy Hole in Nansemond County, Virginia.
He was the son of Robert Peele and Sarah unknown
last name. Robert was married to Judith possible last name
Edwards about 1708 in Isle of Wight, Virginia. Robert and
Judith were the parents of Robert, Edmund, Sarah, Joseph, John
B., Joshua, James, Josiah, Elizabeth, John Jellary and Mary. Robert
died about 1748 in Nansemond County, Virginia.

in Grimes' Wills, pg 283
Judith Peele, wife of Robert III, Northampton Co., NC, 22 June
1756, Aug. Ct. 1756. NC wills, 1663/1789. Names sons: John Robert,
Joseph, Joshua, Josiah, and daus. Mary Granberry, wife of my executor,
and Sarah Duke. William Granberry qualified as executor.
Judith possible last name Edwards was born between 1686 and 1688 in Virginia. Judith
died before August 1756 in Northampton County, North Carolina.
Robert
Peele was born about 1657 in Nansemond County, Virginia. He
was the son of Robert Peele and an unknown mother. About
1678 he married Sarah unknown last name. Robert and Sarah
were the parents of William, Robert, Ephraim and Joseph. Robert
died about 1703 in Nansemond County, Virginia.
Sarah unknown
last name was born about 1657. Sarah was also married to Thomas
Jarrat. Sarah died about 1720 in Nansemond County, Virginia.
Robert
Peele was born about 1635 in England,
the son of Lawrence Peelle and an unknown mother. Robert
married and unknown woman and fathered Robert. Robert died after
November 1694 in Nansemond County, Virginia.
Lawrence
Peelle was born in 1601 in England. In 1620 Lawrence immigrated
to Virginia on board the ship called "Margaret and John".
Lawrence married an unknown woman and fathered Robert.
